Based in Boston while completing his Master's at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Charles Bingaman has spent more than a decade photographing the world's great cities and some of its most remote landscapes. His work is shaped by a lifelong curiosity about place, documenting environments that range from global capitals to isolated mountain communities, deserts, coastlines, and the remnants of forgotten industry.

Rather than documenting destinations, his photographs seek to preserve atmosphere. They linger on light, texture, and the subtle details that define a place long after the journey has ended. Across landscapes, architecture, food, and everyday life, each image reflects a quiet, observational approach rooted in patience rather than spectacle.

Working independently, he approaches photography as a long-term artistic practice rather than a commercial pursuit. This portfolio presents a carefully curated selection from an evolving archive, released gradually to allow each body of work to stand on its own.
